Step 1: Set Your Goals
The first step is to set your goals (up to 5). The goal-setting pages are where you start to get more specific about what you want to achieve over the next 13 weeks with the Clever Fox Ultimate Achiever’s planner.
Define your goal: Write down your goal and make sure you circle or color the areas that are going to improve in your life when you achieve this goal.
It’s important to see what areas of your life will thrive after you have achieved this goal.
Step 2: Plan Your Month
Next there are 2-page layouts for the next 3 months. Remember - the Clever Fox Ultimate Achiever’s 13-week planner is undated, so it’s up to you to fill in the months and dates.
Monthly Calendar: Use this space for recording an overview of how the month is likely to go. Vacations, birthdays, holidays and days when the kids aren’t in school can all go here.
Noting special events helps you plan for anything you may need to get done in the lead up to the big anniversary, wedding or reunion. Appointments and meetings may go here, as well.
Essentially, these pages allow you to see, at a glance, what’s happening for an entire month so that nothing takes you by surprise.
Step 3: Plan Your Week
Each weekly layout features one page that has spaces for the milestones, goals and priorities of the week, as well as miscellaneous notes.
You’ll also have room for tracking habits, as well as a to-do list.
This Week’s Milestones: In this section, write down key tasks that will help you move closer to achieving your 13-week goals.
In the circles on the right, write down the number of the goal relevant to this milestone task. Circle the life areas on which your weekly milestones focus. This will allow you to clearly see on which life areas you are working the most and which ones are lacking, allowing you more conscious control over your work-life balance.
Step 4: Plan Your Day
This page will help you start your day off on the right foot: energized, strong, committed and focused on your goals.
It provides space for what you have scheduled for each day, along with your main goal for the day and your daily priorities.
Your main goal for the day can be described like this - if it was the only thing you did during the whole day, it would have the biggest positive impact, or progress, towards your goal. If your main goal of the day isn’t done yet, do not proceed with anything else.
Next, set the other priorities for the day - things that should be done after you complete your main goal for the day. Use the circles to mark the number of the goal that you set in the beginning of this planner and to which your daily priority is related.
Next, you have a 5AM – 10PM schedule where you can write down your appointments, events, to-dos and so on.
At the end of the day, there are spaces where you can reflect on your wins and on the things upon which you will improve tomorrow. Identify your 3 biggest wins for the day. What went really, really well? These don't have to be work-related; if something made you happy today, record it here.
